I Have A Dream Foundation — Dallas motivates inner-city children to graduate from high school, pursue higher education and become productive members of the community. The Foundation takes a personal interest in the lives of elementary and secondary students, facilitating their development by providing mentors, role models, educational opportunities and recreational programs they may otherwise be denied. High School Graduates are further aided in their pursuit of higher education by the Foundation’s assistance in locating and obtaining academic resources vital to their success.
The Foundation’s mission is to assist underprivileged, at risk youths in low income inner-city communities and provide them assistance and support to help them stay in school, coach and support them to achieve their diploma and go on to college and get their degree. In this way, we benefit the individuals in our program as well as society as a whole by breaking the cycle of poverty and despair that goes hand in hand with a lack of education.
